- Match #1: Chris Adams over Glacier
- Glacier has picked up some major weight since before his injury. Glacier got on the mic and laughed at Adams' new outfit. Some decent brawling on the outside of the ring, but fans were chanting "boring" before this match began. Adams hit the worst superkick I've ever seen as Glacier charged at him in a corner, as the kick hit his shoulderblade, and Glacier of course sold it. Adams won with that new submission hold that is characteristic of Judo masters, as Mike Tenay said on WCWSN...
- Match #2: Kanyon over Bobby Duncum Jr.
- This was a decent match, but Kanyon more over than Duncum is as a wrestler. Some nice moves, the highlight being a suplex over the ring barricade back onto the mats surrounding the ring by Kanyon. Kanyon won when he reversed an Irish whip by Duncum into the Flatliner. And, of course, before the match he asked the crowd "the question..."
- Match #3: The Cat over Van Hammer
- Ernest talked for like 10 minutes, the usual such as beating the crowd up, the 5 seconds to get out of the ring thing, etc. Not a whole lot of wrestling, with the Cat hitting a kick to the side of the head, which was actually pretty weak, and then covering Hammer for the pin.......
- Match #4: Chris Benoit over Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker
- The highlight of this match was Buddy getting the entire length of his theme music played on the intercom. They must've had trouble locating the Horsemen theme ,as Penzer called for the music to end three times before Benoit came out.....Typical Benoit match, with him reversing a suplex into the crossface for the win....
- Match #5: Raven over Scott Riggs
- Riggs has some new, and I must say very gay, music. Raven came out and told Riggs he forgives him for leaving the Flock, that he doesn't want to beat him up, and to just do the Hogan-Nash thing for a victory and then the two of them can grab a beer....Of course Riggs doesn't go down when Raven pushes him, but the match itself was pretty slow. Not too much wrestling, a little brawling, with Raven using the DDT for the win. Coincidentally, after the boot to the stomach (the setup for the Evenflow), Riggs was so far away from Raven that Raven had to reach out and by the time he actually put on the DDT, it was like 30 seconds later, and a terrible finish!
- Match #6: "Diamond" Dallas Page over Bam Bam Bigelow
- Typical DDP match, with Bigelow working the crowd over pretty good. Page reversed a body slam into the Diamond Cutter for the win. In terms of execution, probably the best match of the night......
- Match #7: Sting over Bret Hart
- Since no one has mentioned this yet, Sting is now wearing Black and White, with the Black trenchcoat. He did come through the crowd as Hart was saying what an unworthy opponent he was. Not a great match, but not terrible, with Mickie Jay taking a nice bump, a foiled attempt at a win with a foreign object by Hart, and the reverse DDT by Sting for the victory.
Overall, not a terrible show, but not great either......Too many midcarders, and not enough big names. I would say the crowd estimate of 5,000 is about right, but the last WCW house show at the Civic Center only had about 3,000....
