- This tag team tournament was the second of what would be three annual Crockett Cup Tag Team Tournaments, which were a single elimination tournament. Note that the producers heavily clipped the matches on this tape, and the matches shown are only a subset of all the matches in the tournament. - Tony Schiavone welcomes us to the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
- He looks really bad with a moustache. He hypes up the tag teams involved in the tournament.
- Superstar Bill Dundee/The Barbarian Vs Tim Horner/Mike Rotondo
- Rotondo and Dundee are on the floor with Mike getting the worse end of the encounter.
- They trade right and chops, Barbarian stomps on Mike to help Dundee.
- Barbarian with a big boot in the ring on Mike, 2 count.
- Sleeper hold on Mike. Mike makes a comeback after awhile in the hold.
- Double clothesline and both men are down. Scoop slam by Barbarian.
- Barbarian misses a flying head butt. Mike tags in Horner. Head butts to both men.
- Cross body onto Barbarian. Sleeper hold on Barbarian, Dundee breaks that up.. Barbarian then covers Horner.. 1-2-3.
- Your Winners: The Barbarian and Superstar Bill Dundee via pinfall
- Jimmy Valiant / LazorTron Vs Shaska Whatley/Teijho Khan
- Tron with a dropkick on Khan, Shaska gets the tag.
- Double team attack on Tron in the corner. Second time doesn't work.
- Double atomic drop on Shaska. Double back drop on Khan.
- Khan and Shaska run into each other going for Tron.
- Shaska works on Valiant... Khan gets the tag and double axe handles Valiant.
- Overhand chops by Khan on Valiant. Shaska comes in and head butts Valiant a few times.
- Shaska misses an elbow, Tron comes in and works on both men.
- Tron with a running forearm attack, Valiant is working on Khan.
- Tron backdrops Shaska over the top rope to cause the DQ!
- Your Winners: Shaska Whatley/Teijho Khan via Disqualification
- The Russians Vs Brad and Bob Armstrong
- Double team moves on Bob, by choking him on the top rope.
- Bear hug by one of the Russians, they don't have names, onto Bob.
- Bob manages to get out of the hold, and both men go down with shoulder blocks.
- Brad gets the tag and connects with a backdrop and a nice dropkick.
- Cross body but gets a 1 count. Sleeper hold on one of the men.
- Another Russian comes in with a chain and hits Brad over the back to cause the DQ.
- Your Winners: Bob and Brad Armstrong via Disqualification
- Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette Vs Jimmy & Ronnie Garvin w/ Precious
- All four men are brawling inside the ring with Eaton trying to get Cornette into the ring.
- Ronnie hits Eaton with the shoe and they go to the floor.
- Cornette is acting like he is really scared of a woman with a shoe.
- Eaton works on Jimmy. Side kick by Stan. Eaton with a back elbow and he gets a 2 count.
- Rear chin lock onto Jimmy. Stan gets the tag and Eaton runs right into him.
- Ronnie comes in and takes out both Express members. Ronnie and Eaton are on the floor.
- Cornette hits Ronnie over the back with a tennis racket. So, referee Earl Hebner counts Ronnie Garvin out.
- Your Winners: The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette via count-out.
- Ronnie beats up Hebner after the match.
- The announcer announces that the Rock N' Roll Express member Ricky Morton has suffered an eye injury. The Express have to withdraw from the competition.
- Cage Match: Big Bubba Vs Ole Anderson
- Ole works on Bubba quickly and sends him into the cage.
- They trade right hands. Ole is busted open already.
- Bubba comes back with right hands and knee to the gut of Ole.
- Bubba sends Ole face first into the cage once again.
- Ole manages to get up before the 10 count. Bubba presses Ole face right against the caging.
- Ole is starting to get a second wind, and he kicks Bubba down. Three times Ole does this.
- Bubba with right hands, and Ole is busted wide open. Bubba gets knocked down after a right hand.
- More right hands by Bubba. Bubba is choking Ole with his suspenders.
- Bubba goes to the top turnbuckle and misses a splash. Ole gets up and connects with a pile driver. Bubba is out cold, it appears.
- Your Winner: Ole Anderson via pinfall after a pile driver.
- Tony interviews Magnum TA, whose career was ended in a really bad car crash, about three of his greatest matches.
- TA is just muttering really and I can't understand what he is really even talking about.
- TA says that he has his money on the Super Powers winning the tournament.
- Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette & Big Bubba Vs Road Warriors
- Animal with a power slam on Eaton. Stan comes in and gets knocked down by Animal.
- Hawk gets the tag in and Stan looks to be out of it. Hawk clubs Stan on the back and gut wrench power slams him.
- Hawk with a clothesline off the middle turnbuckle.
- Eaton comes back with Stan and double axe handles him.
- Eaton gets tape and chokes Hawk as Cornette hits him with the tennis racket.
- Stan chokes Hawk and delivers kicks and elbows on the mat.
- Knee lift by Eaton onto Hawk. Stan with more knees to the gut and he sends Hawk over the top to the floor.
- Eaton hits Hawk in the midsection with the tennis racket, Eaton with a boot to the gut.
- Hawk begins to fight back with right hands. Stan gets the tag back in.
- Stan with another kick to the chest of Hawk.
- Eaton walks right into a big boot by Hawk out of the corner.
- Animal gets the tag in and takes both men down.
- Backdrop on Eaton. Dropkick onto Eaton. Stan breaks up the cover.
- Shoulder block by Animal on Eaton. Cornette with a FIREBALL onto Animal.
- Ellering with a tennis racket shot on Cornette. Animal hits both Express members with the racket.
- Your Winners: The Midnight Express via Disqualification
- Rick Rude/"Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez Vs Super Powers
- Rhodes with his usual elbow spots onto Bull.
- Numerous knee drops by Bull onto Rhodes.. At least a dozen in a row.
- Rude attacks Rhodes on the floor and sends him into the ring post.
- Rude comes in and delivers right hands. Rhodes no sells them.
- Scoop slam by Rude. Fist drop off the top by Rude.
- Bull with his usual 15 moves in a row head butts.
- Rhodes with a leaping clothesline onto Bull.
- Rude and Koloff are also in the ring and working on each other.
- Rhodes pins Bull... 1-2-3.
- Your Winners: Dusty Rhodes/Koloff via pinfall
- Lex Luger/Tully Blanchard Vs Bob/Brad Armstrong
- Brad Armstrong manages to get some good offense in, with a flying missile dropkick.
- Horsemen soon end that when Dillion pulls the top rope and Brad goes to the floor.
- Luger works away on Brad by sending him back first into the guard railing.
- Horsemen continue to work on his back for a few minutes.
- Brad continues to get close to pin cover attempts.
- Typical heel antics, that they are worried they are going to lose.
- Brad was doing just fine... but tags in his 50 year old tag team partner Bob Armstrong.
- Tully pins Bob after a double clothesline with Dillon.
- Your Winners: Tully Blanchard and Lex Luger via pinfall.
- Super Powers (Rhodes/Koloff) Vs Midnight Express
- We already have one heel tag team in the finals, so I wonder who shall win this one?
- Midnight Express with the early tag team advantage on the injured Koloff.
- This occurs for majority of the match.
- Eaton runs into Lane... Lane to the floor. Koloff with a clothesline... 1-2-3.
- Dusty Rhodes had NOTHING to do with this match that was shown.
- Jim Cornette throws a temper tantrum in the ring.
- Your Winners: Super Powers (Rhodes/Koloff) via pinfall.
- For the NWA World Title: (champion) Ric Flair Vs Barry Windham
- They trade right hands, Windham misses a dropkick.
- Flair with the Figure Four while using the ropes for a few moments.
- Windham comes back with a running lariat.
- Flair back elbows Windham over the top to the floor and Windham goes hard into the railing.
- Windham comes back in the ring with a sunset flip and a backslide pin attempt.
- Continue to trade right hands and chops. Windham soon suplexes Flair back into the ring.
- Windham goes up top and misses an "elbow" that look more like a back splash.
- Windham reverses a Figure Four and gets a 2 count.
- Flair goes over the top following a right hand by Windham.
- Flair with a top rope cross body... Windham reverses into a cover... 2 count
- Flair Flip in the corner and he falls to the floor. Low blow onto Windham to stop his momentum.
- Windham with a sleeper hold for a few moments
- Windham with a Figure Four, which doesn't last too long.
- Power slam off the ropes by Windham... 2 count
- Another Figure Four attempt by Windham... No cigar.
- Windham with perhaps one of the worst missile dropkicks I have ever seen... and gets the 3!
- But Flair's foot was on the bottom rope... Brilliant! Don't blow it, Windham.
- Running lariat by Windham... but he only gets a 2 count..
- Delayed vertical suplex by Windham... 2 count.
- Both men bridge out of a corner, backslide by Windham... 2 count.
- Flair uses the tights in a rollup to gain the cheap victory!
- Your Winner: And still NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Ric Flair via pinfall with a handful of tights.
- For the tear jerker of the night, Magnum TA comes out and cries with Dusty and Koloff, since Magnum suffered a career ending injury in a car accident.
- Jim Crockett Tournament Final: Horsemen (Luger/Blanchard) Vs Super Powers (Rhodes/Koloff)
- Koloff and Blanchard fall to the floor... Dillon grabs the neck brace off Koloff.
- Luger with elbows to the neck. Dusty finally comes over and protects his partner.
- Horsemen continue to work away on the injured neck of Koloff as Dusty just sits there doing nothing.
- Horsemen choke Koloff on the middle rope and work on the neck again...
- Talk about elbows... this match is nothing but elbows to the neck of Koloff.
- Rhodes comes in and connects with three elbows to the heads of each Horsemen member.
- Running spears for Blanchard and Luger, until Rhodes misses and goes to the floor.
- Blanchard accidentally hits Dillon with a shoe. Rhodes climbs up top and connects with a flying cross body... 1-2-3.
- Your Winners: Super Powers (Rhodes/Koloff) via pinfall.
- The Good: Brad Armstrong looked really good in the two matches he was in. World Title Match was fairly good, also.
- The Bad: The clipping of the matches throughout... I know some of the parts may have been boring, but it takes away from the contest, IMO.
- The Ugly: Everything else.
