WCW Saturday Night - Saturday, February 3rd, 1996
- We bare witnessed Hogan jobbing to Ric Flair on the last edition of Nitro. Makes sense, considering that Flair has a World Title match at Super Brawl.
- Wouldn't make too much sense if he were to have lost. Credibility would have been shot.
- Brian Pillman appears to be getting a more in-depth role on television. Which is very good to see. Very good young talent.
- Road Warriors are back with WCW. I think we could see some decent tag matches in the future. Especially with Harlem Heat.
- Speaking of Harlem Heat... Booker T, man this guy is really good. I think Heat could split within the year. Booker could become a singles star. Most likely a US Champ. Ray could be a good heel guy. Feud with the main stars and mid card.
- Booker T = Future of WCW.... Along with Benoit, Wright, Guerrero and Malenko.
- Now for a short rant... Johnny B. Badd and DDP feud. Page hasn't won a singles match against Johnny. Honestly, anyone see Page pin Badd?
- He has even lost his real life wife, Diamond Doll in the feud... not in real life, just as his manager.
- Halloween Havoc, World War III 1995, Nitro after WW3, and now it appears that at Super Brawl VI Page will even be losing at that.
- If Page loses to Badd again, then Page is done as being a credible mid carder... Simple as that.
- Also, I don't see Public Enemy really fitting in with WCW. Unless every match is No DQ or something. I just don't see them having a good match with, say, The Blue Bloods... Really, maybe just the Nasty Boys.
- Notice how Sabu was let go after three weeks? Partially because he didn't like to lose to Disco Inferno, but also because he just didn't fit in...
- Now, for two rather cheap plugs...
- I have been added on to the staff of www.angrymarks.com... Writing columns and what not.
- So go check it out, the name is self explanatory.
- Also, I will be creating a website. Basically just like Bill did here with WCW, but I will include all promotions. In order of their shows and have my usual recaps, or summary of each match.
- Format will be just like this, credit of course will go to Bill for the format.
