WCW Monday Night Nitro - Monday, October 23rd, 1995
- We are in Huntsville, Alabama for some live one-hour action of WCW Nitro.
- Six days until Halloween Havoc.
- Randy Savage comes down to wrestle.
- Randy Savage Vs "K" Kurasawa
- Savage shoves Colonel Parker down and K begins to deliver kicks and chops to the knee and back of Savage.
- K with some more kicks and chops to the back and chest.
- K with even more kicks and chops and he even throws a head butt into the mix.
- Savage comes back and sends K through the middle rope to the floor.
- K comes back in and simply chops Savage on the back of the head.
- K connects with a modified back suplex... 2-count.
- K begins to wrench on the arm of Savage and continues to give boots and chops to the elbow.
- Savage rakes K in the eyes and K simply hits Savage on the windpipe. Savage rolls to the outside and K baseball slides Savage down.
- Back into the ring and K delivers an arm breaker of sorts and Savage comes back with a boot to the gut.
- Commercials.
- K continues with kicks to the midsection. K with chops in the corner.
- Savage fights back with kicks in the corner, but K comes back with an overhand chop.
- K with a kick to the butt and Savage goes to the outside.
- K goes for another baseball slide but Savage moves. K looks for a kick on the ring post and Savage moves. K connects with the ring post. He then simply no sells any pain.
- Savage drops K throat-first onto the top rope and climbs up top. Savage leaps off and connects with the flying elbow. 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Randy Savage via pinfall following the flying elbow drop.
- Mongo/Bobby/Eric continue to hype up the Sting/Luger/Savage saga.
- Lights go out, and the Dungeon of Doom's father begins to speak.
- Talks about 13 tons of ice?
- A noticeably fake thing of ice is shown and there must be someone in the "ice". The person will debut at Halloween Havoc to help end Hulkamania.
- Sullivan and Giant are shown with Gene.
- The Yeti appears to be the name of the mystery person in the ice.
- Sullivan knew that Hogan was nothing but evil.
- Giant says that Hogan is running out of lives, and he will take the World Title at Havoc this Sunday. Calls himself the "Immortal Giant".
- Sullivan says that the World Title will be the Giant's.
- Commercials.
- Hogan and Jimmy Hart come out for an interview.
- Hogan fears no evil.
- He fears no man.
- Hogan says that everyone knows what a guy with black gloves and black bandana can do... (I believe that's an OJ Simpson reference).
- Hogan doesn't believe that Sting/Luger/Savage are his friends. Hogan challenges all three of them to separate matches.
- Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit Vs Mr. J.L and Eddie Guerrero
- Alex Wright was originally supposed to be Guerrero's partner but he appears to have a hurt knee... So he comes to the ring with JL/Guerrero.
- Guerrero and Benoit have a stare down. Benoit with an arm wrench and Guerrero takes Benoit down and he drops elbows to the knee of Benoit
- Guerrero wrenches the arm of Benoit, Guerrero with a side headlock. Benoit sends Guerrero into the ropes and connects with a hip toss.
- Guerrero rolls to the outside and Malenko comes in and splashes onto Guerrero. Malenko holds Guerrero for Benoit, Benoit looks for a suicide dive and hits Malenko.
- JL goes off the ropes and Guerrero sends JL over the top onto Benoit and Malenko.
- Guerrero with a boot and elbow to the back of Malenko's head and he connects with a tilt-a-whirl arm drag.
- Malenko comes back with a spinning heel kick.
- Guerrero with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker.
- JL comes in and Malenko sends JL into the corner and connects with a knee strike in the corner.
- Malenko with a back suplex.
- Norton and Shark are fighting in the back... who cares... we got a good match here.
- JL takes Benoit down with a flying head scissors. Benoit goes to the ropes after a nice exchange and Malenko hits JL on the head. Benoit with a rolling neck breaker and Malenko connects with a drop kick to the back.
- Malenko places JL into a sitting abdominal stretch.
- Commercials.
- Malenko with a belly-to-belly suplex on JL.. 2-count.
- Benoit comes in and connects with an nice back suplex. 2-count.
- Benoit looks for a power bomb but JL reverses into an arm drag. Benoit manages to block a dropkick... 2-count,
- Malenko comes in and connects with a leg drop... 2-count.
- JL with a sunset flip off the ropes... 2-count.
- Benoit comes in and delivers a few vicious chops. Benoit lifts JL up and drops him down gut first onto the top rope.
- JL blocks an attempt by Benoit to ram him head first into the turnbuckle. Malenko grabs JL's foot on the top turnbuckle and Benoit connects with a top rope superplex.... 2-count.
- Malenko comes in and JL takes Malenko down with a backslide. JL connects with a spinning jumping back elbow.
- JL crawls to his corner and makes the tag to Guerrero.
- Guerrero takes both men down with a dropkick and a spinning heel kick onto Malenko.
- Guerrero walks on the top rope and he takes Benoit down with a head scissors and Malenko with an arm drag.
- Guerrero/Benoit are on the outside brawling and JL rolls Malenko up after Wright, I suppose, helped them out... I didn't see it... 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Eddie Guerrero/Mr JL via pinfall with a roll up by JL on Malenko.
- Brian Pillman comes down the aisle way and he DDTs Guerrero on the floor.
- Commercials.
- Harlem Heat Vs Sting/Lex Luger
- Mongo pokes fun at WWF's In Your House by calling it an "Outhouse 'cause it's so darn bad".
- Sting and Booker T starts things off... Booker with a knee to the gut and clubs to the back. Booker with a side headlock.
- Booker takes Sting down with a shoulder block. Sting comes back and dropkicks Booker down and hip tosses Booker to the outside.
- Sting with a backdrop. Luger with a double axe handle on the arm of Booker.
- Commercials.
- Stevie Ray has Luger in the always painful nerve hold. Luger with elbows to the gut. Ray tags in Booker who connects with n leaping side kick... 2-count.
- Booker with some hard rights and Sting comes in and rakes the eyes of Booker.
- Ray comes in and chokes Luger... Luger with hard rights... Uuntil Ray comes back with a hard right hand. Booker gets the tag and connects with a kick to the midsection.
- Booker attacks Sting and Ray chokes Luger in the corner.
- Booker chokes Luger some more. Booker with kicks to the ribs and he connects with a scissors kick.
- Sherri is seen kissing a picture of Colonel Parker.
- Back in the ring, Ray has Luger in a headlock. Luger is fading... but gets his hand up before the third arm drop.
- Luger gets up and Ray drops him with a side slam.
- Booker goes to the top rope and misses a Harlem Hangover... Luger crawls to Sting and makes the tag. Sting cleans house with hard rights and chops. Sting sends Booker into the corner and connects with a Stinger Splash and he gives the same to Ray.
- Sting places Booker in the Scorpion Deathlock but Ray comes in and takes Sting down with a big boot. Harlem Heat with an double vertical suplex on Luger.
- Sting is up top and he connects with anflying clothesline on Booker... 1-2-3.
- Your Winners: Sting and Lex Luger via pinfall when Sting pinned Booker T following a flying clothesline.
- Giant comes in and choke slams Luger and Sting. Savage comes down and so does Hulk Hogan.
- Savage says for Hogan not to do anything. Hogan wants Giant.
- The Dungeon of Doom comes down... Hogan is in the ring and he delivers a few rights to Giant to no effect.
- Giant with a clubbing blow to the back of Hogan. Hogan right away Hulks up and delivers more right hands.
- Giant goes head first into the turnbuckle and the DoD come in and Hogan/Savage fight them all off. Another head ram to the corner by Hogan.
- Giant retreats out of the ring.
- Some shaking is occurring and the Ice is breaking as someone in an mummy costume breaks free... *sigh*
- End of Show
- The Good: The Tag Team Match with Guerrero/JL Vs Benoit/Malenko... that was very good. Also, Kursawa doing nothing but kicks and chops.
- The Bad: The father of the DOD.. I could barely understand a word he was saying.
- The Ugly: The Yeti breaking free. That just looked very stupid in many ways.
