WCW Monday Night Nitro - Monday, September 25th, 1995
- The Randy Savage/Lex Luger feud is progressing in a fairly good manner. Hopefully WCW won't do something to make this a feud to forget.
- WCW looks to be going with a monster truck match with Giant/Hogan at Halloween Havoc... Yuck.
- We are live for tonight's one-hour edition of Nitro.
- Alex Wright Vs Disco Inferno
- Disco quickly attacks Wright with clubbing blows to the back and sends Wright into the ropes and delivers a back elbow.
- Elbow drop by Disco, and he sends Wright to the outside.
- Wright with a shoulder to the gut of Disco and he springboards off the top rope for a dropkick. Wright connects with a spinning heel kick... 2 count.
- Wright sends Disco to the outside. Wright leaps over the top and connects with a cross body.
- Disco messes up a belly-to-belly suplex and delivers forearm drops onto Wright. Disco with an elbow in the corner.
- Wright takes Disco down with an arm drag. Disco gets up and connects with a running clothesline.
- Disco with a short clothesline.
- The crowd really hates Disco.
- Disco goes to the top rope. Wright dropkicks Disco off the top rope.
- Wright with a few hard rights and an uppercut. Wright with a spinning back elbow... 2 count.
- Disco with a elbow to the back of the head and a back suplex.
- Wright reverses an attempt of a swinging neck breaker into a backslide... 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Alex Wright via pinfall with a backslide.
- Hogan is backstage saying that he is not "down and out"... Talks in the third person. He thought at Fall Brawl his career was all over. Hogan throws in the phrase "Big Stinky Giant" numerous times. Challenges Giant to a match for the World Title... brotha'.
- Kurasawa Vs Sgt. Craig Pittman is next!
- Commercials.
- Clips of last week where Luger says that Savage is jealous of Luger. Says that Savage also wants to be World Champion. Savage agrees (with the wanting to be World Champion part of it). Luger is "sick and tired of playing with little boys". They want to fight... but of course they don't.
- Savage is back this week and Luger runs down. Luger says that Savage doesn't respect him. Luger says he respects Sting and Hogan, but doesn't respect Savage. Challenges Savage to a match next week. If Luger loses, he is out of WCW (are you kidding?). Savage accepts.
- Luger already in a retirement match? Wow that was quick.
- "K" Kurasawa w/ Col. Robert Parker Vs Sgt. Craig Pittman
- Pittman with two head butts to the chest of K.
- Pittman lifts K up in the air with an arm bar and slams him down.
- K with a few kicks to the thighs and to the chest sending Pittman to the outside.
- K with a baseball slide and Pittman goes to the outside.
- K with a backdrop onto the concrete floor.
- K with a snapmare and he kicks Pittman on the head.
- "KFC" chant.
- K with a few arm breakers. K with a few more kicks to the shoulder.
- Pittman manages to send K over the top to the floor. K with a head butt to the gut and Pittman sends K into the apron shoulder first.
- Pittman with an arm breaker slam back into the ring. Pittman with more head butts and a belly-to-belly suplex. Pittman places on the Code Red but K gets to the ropes.
- Pittman with a few shoulder rams. Pittman reverses into a gut wrench suplex. K fights back and connects with a German suplex... 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Kurasawa via pinfall with a German Suplex.
- Up Next: Randy Savage Vs Kevin Sullivan
- Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman are in the ring. Pillman calls Flair's quest of a search for a partner "pathetic". Seemingly challenges Flair to a match. Anderson says that the "better man won". Anderson says he excels in Tag Team matches. Mentions why Savage and Sting will not tag with him.
- Clip of Sullivan attacking Savage on the set of Baywatch.
- Kevin Sullivan Vs Randy "Macho Man" Savage
- Zodiac comes from nowhere to the ring and is barking or something in the face of Sullivan.
- Savage leaps to the outside and chases after Sullivan. Zodiac attacks Savage and sends him into the ring post.
- Sullivan with a few boots and blows to the back of Savage.
- Savage gets sent to the outside. Sullivan drops Savage groin first onto the guard rail and clotheslines him off.
- Sullivan with a running boot to the side of the head.
- Sullivan with a few hard right hands with Savage still on the apron.
- Savage fights back, sending Sullivan into the turnbuckle. Sullivan sends Savage to the outside.
- Sullivan with right hands. Savage with a backdrop and he sends Sullivan into the rail.
- Savage connects with a double axe handle off the top into the ring.
- Zodiac comes into the ring and Savage knocks the referee down. Savage slams Sullivan onto Zodiac and connects with an elbow drop onto Zodiac.
- The Giant comes down to the ring. Choke slam on Savage.
- Here comes a few jobbers and they get choke slammed. Here comes Lex Luger. Luger stands over Savage and Luger begins to attack Giant. Giant with a choke slam on Luger.
- Your Winner: Kevin Sullivan via disqualification due to Savage knocking down the referee.
- Lex Luger Vs Meng
- Luger is still down but Meng comes out for the scheduled match. Meng with blows to the back and he chokes Luger.
- Meng chokes Luger on the ropes.
- Meng with kicks in the corner and goes back to choking Luger.
- Meng with a piledriver... 2 count.
- Meng with chops in the corner and he chokes Luger some more.
- Meng with a snap suplex... 2 count.
- Nerve hold by Meng. Luger's arm drops twice but Luger manages to keep it up on the third one. Luger with some hard right hands but Meng with a boot to the gut.
- Meng with a gut wrench gut buster... 2 count.
- Rear chin lock by Meng. Meng with boots to the head and a leg drop.... 2 count.
- Sleeper hold by Meng. Luger fights back and Meng jabs him in the throat. Meng with a Samoan drop.
- Meng goes off the middle rope and Luger slams Meng face first into the mat.
- Meng with a few chops in the corner. Luger with two big boots. Luger with a running clothesline in the corner and goes to kicking Meng in the corner.
- Meng grabs the spike from his boot and uses it... 1-2-3.
- Your Winner: Meng via pinfall using the spike (international object)
- More hype for the Luger/Savage match Next Week... Good night.
- The Good: Lex Luger losing in the main event... Wright/Inferno was decent.
- The Bad: Savage/Sullivan.
- The Ugly: Pittman and Kurasawa... Though I think Kurasawa is a good worker.
