Sunday, 5/18, Day 6: Chicago, Illinois to Springfield, Illinois
An unnamed prison off Joliet Road, heading toward Joliet. I had though it was the infamous Joliet Prison, but no such luck.
We got somewhat caught in a traffic jam going into Joliet, Illinois. A car had plunged off one of the drawbridges into the Des Plaines River. According to one of the cops at the scene, "It's not the first time this has happened."
